E-Stamping

e-Stamping system is web based secured system of paying stamp duty to the Government. e-Stamp which ‘replaces’ the stamp paper is highly secure and tamper proof. Central Government has authorised Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited (SHCIL) to act as the sole Central Record keeping Agency (CRA) for implementing eStamping across the country.

The e-stamping developments in the state of Rajasthan can be described as under :

e-Stamping was launched on July 22nd, 2011. Presently e-Stamp facility covering Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur & Jodhpur, all the 33 districts of Rajasthan at 476 Sub Registrar offices, 1177 ACC Stamp Vendors and 128 bank branches

In order to promote the e-Stamping more and more, an incentive scheme has been introduce to give 0.35% extra remuneration to ACC Stamp Vendors on the total amount of sold by them.
